The Historical Society of Topsail Island is proud to present Jeff Wenzel who will speak about Camp Davis and its lasting influence on the area.

About our speaker…

Jeff Wenzel is the former mayor of Holly Ridge, North Carolina, where he played a key role in managing the town’s rapid growth. He is the owner of Above Topsail, a photography studio located on the historic grounds of Camp Davis, a significant World War II military installation. With deep roots in both the civic and business communities, Jeff brings a unique perspective to Holly Ridge’s evolution.

An active member of the Historical Society of Topsail Island, Jeff is passionate about preserving and sharing local history. In his presentation, he will explore the history of Camp Davis and its lasting influence on the area. He will also highlight the remarkable economic expansion at Camp Davis Industrial Park, now one of the fastest-growing economic areas in Onslow County. Jeff’s talk will offer a detailed look at how Holly Ridge is balancing its historic legacy with modern industrial growth.
